Kitchen Hub in collaboration with GIZ Myanmar, has been working with agro-processing community in Southern Shan State over the last year. We had delivered our monthly community events to provide the platform for likeminded people to connect and weekend classes to share food safety and processing know-hows through digital platforms despite the COVID-19 pandemic and reaching out to nearly 1,100 individuals nationwide. We had a chance to work with local food entrepreneurs and innovators to test and develop the value-added products using our multi-purpose processing facility in Taunggyi, Shan State. It’s has been a tough year for all of us but all of our appreciation goes to the local food entrepreneurs and innovators for making positive changes together for the community while we are operating in Taunggyi. This is not a goodbye yet. We will be moving our facility “the red containers” to new location in order to provide our services to wider community of food entrepreneurs and startups. We are super excited to work with food startups and MSMEs from different parts of the country to enhance the value chain of the agricultural sector in the country.
