Kitchen Hub Team

Okka is a passionate tech entrepreneur who already started 2 companies. He is the tech and visually-creative mastermind of our team and greatly enjoys connecting with our growing community. Okka will be responsible for running our day-to-day operations and community development in the first phase of Impact Hub Yangon, which he is now already doing for our current co-working space by hosting weekly lunch talks and introducing new members and clients. He is very skilled at identifying opportunities and has been responsible for most of our current local partnerships.

Okka’s vision for Impact Hub Yangon is to create a place or a community where Myanmar people can connect to the open world. This will be the place where people will exchange ideas, get better opportunities, innovate, incubate and create new things that will positively impact on the Myanmar social environment, education system and economic development.

Kyaw’s an entrepreneur who has great passion for marketing, advertising and technology. He has worked briefly 5 years at Singapore with some MNCs and returned to Myanmar in 2014 to start the exciting journey of entrepreneurship. Before he had co-founded an advertising agency in Singapore. After returning to Myanmar, Kyaw had co-founded Officecubed which is a modern co-working space in Yangon and also co-founded a tech startup called Foodie Myanmar which is the restaurant discovery and review platform for Myanmar. Kyaw will be supporting Impact Hub’s business development and event management as he’s currently managing the Officecubed’s events such as sundowner and also supporting and managing the digital contents/marketing to reach out to the prospective clients.

Kyaw’s vision about Impact Hub is to become a community space where people can work together, collaborate together, generate new ideas together and build a better eco-system and entrepreneurship to take part in supporting the country’s most exciting and booming economy.

Yemin has been working with several companies in private sector and the main person to get the team together to create the backbone of what is to become IHY. He is the finance administrator and business development person to keep the team in align with financials and objectives. He has been the major connector with several overseas partnerships and looking for sponsorships in the community while building the network of the IHY to grow stronger throughout the operations in the region.

He is widely travelled and connected with several overseas entities while having established a strong relationships with Thailand C-Asean entrepreneurial and co-working giant.

Klaus is an enthusiastic community developer and innovation specialist. He previously founded and worked for international development organizations on regional and global levels. His vision for Impact Hub is to become a driving force for making Myanmar a global leader in innovation.

Bhone Myat is an energetic, ambitious person who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that I have taken, or situation I have presented with. I was graduated as Master Degree in Management and I am excellent in working with others to achieve a certain objective on time with excellence. Currently, I’m working at Impact Hub Yangon as Operations lead. I love to manage overall operations and responsible for the effective and successful management, productivity, quality control and safety set for the operation process. Before Impact Hub in Yangon, I worked one of the Marketing company in Yangon as Project Manager. Serve as an Impact Hub Yangon company’s representative, enhance the company’s operations management procedure and support the development functions of Impact Hub Yangon community and entrepreneurship programs. Currently, I’m close working with organizations as UNDP, GIZ.  Love to enhance my network and learn new things in my level of work.

Yonn Myet Chae is a highly organized project coordinator in planning the community development forums and executing innovative project management solutions. Her assertive personality combined with great coordination skills, proactivity and a talented business spirit propelled her in the foreground of Impact Hub Yangon.

Su Thitsar is Project and Communication Assistant of Impact Hub Yangon. She is an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail. And then she implements communication strategies, provides administrative support to programs, assists in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies, updating the databases and media lists at Impact Hub Yangon.

Myat Su is active and hardworking accountant with 2 years experiences. She graduated from Yangon University of Economic with a Bachelor of Economics. She has been working as an accountant since she graduated. Currently, she is working at Impact Hub Yangon Company as finance officer. She is handling the preparation of company financial report, forecasting cash flow budget and providing the company’s taxation affairs with government sectors. Before she joined Impact Hub Yangon, she worked as an account coordinator at City Properties Company head office which is one of the biggest organization in Myanmar. She got a lot of precious working experiences from there. Currently she is learning news experiences from Impact Hub. In the future she is willing to learn further more accounting subjects to improve her education level and career level as well.
